BL-2s Brushless Power System
The BL-2s brushless power system delivers more speed, quicker acceleration, and a more responsive throttle. Improved efficiency, high-speed ball bearings, and an internal cooling fan allow Slash Mudboss to run battery after battery for all-day race sessions. With no brushes to wear out, the BL-2s 3300 kV motor can last the entire racing season with minimal maintenance.

Extreme Heavy Duty components come factory-installed on Slash Mudboss for game-changing durability. Key drivetrain and suspension components are beefed-up with extra material for ultimate strength. From HD suspension arms to the upgraded axles, Slash Mudboss gets you to the finish line no matter how rough the racing action gets.
Pro Series Magnum 272R Transmission
The Magnum 272R transmission maximizes racing performance and durability for hard-hitting torque of brushless power systems. The 272R features an aluminum motor plate, all-metal gears, and a sealed silicone-filled 4-gear differential. The low-CG design concentrates weight as low as possible over the rear axle for improved traction and handling.
Clipless Race Body
Slash MudBoss comes Ready-To-Race® with a clipless body that requires no assembly and exceeds even the best custom designs. A heavily reinforced internal cage utilizes robust top and side bracing to ward off crash damage and protect the rear tires. Traxxas clipless technology holds the body firmly in place from start to finish with quick and easy removal on the pit bench.
Replica Hoosier Tires
Replica Hoosier Angle Block tires come mounted to graphite gray “steelie” wheels for an authentic race-prepped look. The tires are molded in a special rubber compound that balances durability and traction for consistent performance lap after lap. The large tread block design utilizes aggressive siping for maximum grip and predictable handling at the limit.
Aluminum GTR Shocks
GTR shocks represent the peak of racing technology. The color-matched PTFE-coated aluminum shock bodies hold over 70% more oil than Ultra Shocks™ and their slick titanium-nitride coated shafts resist scuffing, increase durability, and eliminate “stiction.” X-ring seals keep oil in and dirt out for smooth, consistent damping, and plush suspension action. Spring preload and ride height changes are as simple as turning the threaded collars.
